Aleksei Archer is a multi-talented and lively American actor. Her birthplace is New York. She celebrates her 14th birthdays. The year 2007 saw her debut on TV. That same year she was hired as an intern at An American Place restaurant for one year. Guarnaschelli had her early culinary instruction by watching her edit cookbooks and test recipes. She began her career under Larry Forgione before working in several Los Angeles, New York and French restaurants. Guarnaschelli was later appointed the executive chef of Butter. Guarnaschelli was a contestant in 2007's Farmers Market Battle, a segment of Food Network's Iron Chef America, where she was up against Cat Cora. In the following years, she has appeared as an Iron Chef America judge and, in 2011, competed on The Next Iron Chef season four where she was the third place finisher. Also, she participated with The Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast episode, but lost the event. In the aftermath of The Next Iron Chef's fourth season she was appointed sous-chef by Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In 2008 she became the host of Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli where she mentors an intimate group of students teaching them how to reinvent classic dishes.
